It follows 2011's free Peer Review content, which hit all platforms on October 4. As promised, Portal 2's 'Perpetual Testing Initiative' DLC is now available for everyone that owns the game on Steam. This is a 'simplified puzzle maker' that allows players to create, share, and play homemade Portal 2 puzzles via Steam Workshop. The Perpetual Testing Initiative DLC is the second batch of postrelease add-on content for Portal 2. The Xbox 360 version of Portal 2 does not feature Steam integration of any kind. The PS3 version of Portal 2 supports Steam, but no Steam Workshop support on that platform has been announced. No mention was made of the Perpetual Testing Initiative DLC coming to the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, and as of press time, Valve had not responded to GameSpot's request for comment. Players can publish their creations to the Steam Workshop, where users can browse, vote on, and select other levels to try out.
